I have worked at HillSide since January 2014 as the Business Manager. I am married to a beautiful lady and we have four children; we have a daughter (our eldest), and three boys. My family follow the Greek Orthodox traditions.
I am an Accountant with CPA Status and have a Bachelor in Business. I have spent many years as a Business Manager in Schools. I handle the school finances and manage all the non-teaching aspects of HillSide including grounds maintenance and building developments. I look to ensure the school has the opportunities to grow and develop.
I enjoy many sports, but love soccer, and my big passion is my family.
I am the Office Manager. I have been at HillSide since 2008. Prior to this, I had a variety of roles mainly in training and development. At HillSide, I have certainly found a role where I enjoy coming to work, meeting all our families and I learn something every day. I am privileged to be part of a place where Christ is at the centre of what we do and we all make a positive impact on our students’ lives.
I live in Forrestfield, am married to Dave and we have two boys, Mitchell and Adam. It is great to work in my community.
At HillSide I get to work with amazing and dedicated people who are like a family. Seeing our students progress through the different year levels, graduate and become mature young adults is certainly heartwarming and I can’t imagine working anywhere else. HillSide is a special place.
Having the better half of a decade’s experience in professional photography, video and digital media, I work with the school’s ICT administrator, Ashley Fenn, to provide device management and support to students and staff through the means of modern, cutting edge technologies.
I taught instrumental music including guitar, bass, keyboard & ukulele from 2013 to 2018, both privately and as a subcontracted instrumental teacher before I started at HillSide at the beginning of 2019. Since then, I’ve also provided assistance in other areas of the school through music and media.
It’s a truly unique opportunity to work in such a Christ-centred environment and workplace. I can’t say enough how thankful I am for the opportunity to influence and make such a positive impact in the lives of students.
I am new to the position of Accounts in 2020 and have a background in Software Testing and Project Administration. I lived on a farm until I got married 23 years ago to a school teacher who teaches Design & Technology. I have studied externally through Moore Theological College to achieve a THC, and also studied through Koinonia Institute.
Aside from study, my personal interests include patchwork, visits to the farm, house renovations and having a small menagerie of pets. For many years we attended Glen Forrest Evangelical Church where we were Youth Leaders, and are now at a Churches of Christ. Working at HillSide has been a welcome relief to be surrounded by such caring people.
Accounts & HR
I have had the privilege of working at Hillside since 2014. Currently, I work in the Accounts Department with a wonderful team.
I am also greatly supported by an amazing family who I am so very grateful for. My son and daughter are nearing the end of their school years and about to move into the big wide world. They both started their education at Hillside, which has set them up extremely well as they move forward.
I attained an Education Assistant qualification in 2013, however, have spent all of my working years in administration in a variety of roles. In regard to motherhood, I am still learning.
I feel watching children develop is such a privilege and have done a lot of personal study into children’s behaviour and special needs. I have a keen interest in helping people and guiding them to see the best in themselves and others.
Accounts & Marketing
I have worked at HillSide since July 2014, my roles include Accounts and Marketing. I am married to a lovely Paramedic and we have two sons currently in high school. We attend a Baptist Church and have enjoyed living in the Hills for 16 years.
I have previously spent many years as an Activity Programmer at a large campsite, also coordinating youth camps for primary and high school students. I am a strong believer in creating opportunities for outdoor experiential learning.
I also have a passion for photography and enjoy taking photos at the College throughout the year to capture the essence of our HillSide community experience.
I started out at HillSide early 2016. I come from a background of managing computer shops and corporate helpdesks where I gained a world of knowledge from the multitude of ICT environments.
I have a passion to create a safe technological working environment to support the students through their education, as well as providing the teacher with the technology to complement their teaching. HillSide is growing in ICT capacity and always looking for ways we can improve our network.
I am married to Melissa Fenn, one of the teachers at the College. I have a background in youth and high school ministry programmes. I have studied 3D animation and video production, I am a member of my church’s audio-visual team. I love working in an openly Christian environment.
I have been at HillSide since the end of 2010, where I worked in various primary classrooms as an Education Assistant. I later completed my Certification III in Education Support and began working in Early Childhood in both the three and four year old Kindergarten classrooms.
In 2015 I changed roles and moved to the College office to work as an Administration Officer, quite a different role to working in Kindy, but equally enjoyable.
I have one son, who graduated High School in 2018, and whom began his school career here at HillSide in 4yr old Kindy, back in 2005.
I am passionate about the environment, recycling and sustainability. My pleasures in life are travelling as much as possible and spending time with family and loved ones.
I have been involved in varying capacities at HillSide since 2005. Two of my adult children were students at Hillside and I enjoyed my time as a volunteer long before I became staff. I believe in the values of the school and have had the pleasure of seeing students join as small children and helping them to develop into young adults with a great grounding in Christian values to help them navigate their way through a complicated world.
Some of my varied roles are to provide general student and staff services such as ensuring the wellbeing of the students, first aid, locker assistance, uniform orders, student files and various office processes, such as workflows and renovations. I enjoy being able to facilitate a great experience for the parent, student and staff interaction.
