    The Chaplaincy team at HillSide Christian College exists to provide support and pastoral care to our College community.

    Kyla

    Hi, I’m Kyla and have been involved with HillSide since 2002. I am married with 3 children who are all current students.

    I have a Bachelor of Social Science (Counselling) and also worked at Anglicare as a Children’s Counsellor. I am also one of the Pastors at HillSide Church.

    My heart is for community. To see people find a place where they belong and feel safe; a place where they can heal and where they can be the person they were created to be. I enjoy working with all ages from the little students to the adults.

    Hi, my name is Bree and I am blessed to be a part of the HillSide chaplaincy team. My husband and I have 3 children who currently attend HillSide College.

    I am a Children’s Pastor at Cityview Church and have completed a Certificate IV in Ministry and obtained a Bachelor of Communications. My passion is to encourage children of all ages to know Jesus and to shine His light and love to the world.

    Stefan

    Hi, I’m Stefan and I am honoured to be part of the HillSide Chaplaincy Team, working across both primary and high school. My wife and I relocated to Perth WA from Newcastle NSW.

    I have studied a Diploma in Ministry, a Diploma in Community Services (Case Management) and for the last 8 years I have been working in youth work and chaplaincy roles in schools and youth centres in NSW.

    I am passionate about young people, that they would know their Creator God and His goodness in their lives and that they would experience acceptance, support and be encouraged to be all that God has created them to be.

    Hi, I’m Alex, a new chaplain here at HillSide Christian College. I am excited to be part of the chaplaincy team and take part of the students’ growth journey at HillSide.

    I have a bachelor’s degree in Education. With studies in Biblical teaching and Christian support. For years, I have worked in different organisations and ministries both in the church and in various community development programs.

    “The heart of education is the education of the heart,” this quote continues to be my purpose as I carry on the passion of working in Christian institutions to disciple the next generation. I am a father of three to a lovely wife who actively serves with me in a local community church.
