Parents, students and school community members are encouraged to stay connected. Please use the following methods to remain informed and connected. The main methods of communication are explained below:
- College website – the College website is being constantly updated to provide key information in relation to COVID-19, and access to off-site (home) education. It is a good source of general information;
- Facebook pages – the College Facebook site and private classroom Facebook groups are good ways to ask questions and stay connected as a community;
- Email – in terms of learning at home, parents should contact teachers via email only if needed if the learning platform is not able to be used (Seesaw/TEAMS). General enquiries to the front office can still be emailed to: [email protected] Please check emails regularly, as these are a key method of communication from the Principal and office.
SEQTA & Apps Information
What is SEQTA Learn?
Thanks to SEQTA’s intuitive learning tools at the click-of-a-button, High School students (7-12) can access important school information – including timetables, lessons, resources, homework, assessments and more – through SEQTA’s dedicated Apps and web portals. This allows students to complete their schoolwork and manage their learning – regardless of whether they’re at home or in the classroom.
What is SEQTA Engage?
SEQTA Engage keeps parents involved in all aspects of their child’s education without placing any extra burden on teachers. Through their user-friendly Apps and web portals, parents can access their child’s student information – including class timetables, attendance records, school notices, homework and assessments – from any device, anytime, anywhere, bringing parents into the learning journey, enabling them to view their child’s progress and help them succeed in their education.
What is SeeSaw?
Seesaw is a platform for primary (K-6) student engagement. Teachers can empower students to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. Students “show what they know” using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links. It’s simple to get student work in one place and share with families, and nothing is shared without teacher approval. Seesaw keeps teachers, students, and families together to support effective remote learning when students are not able to be in class.
What is Microsoft Teams?
Microsoft Teams is a High School (7-12) unified communication and collaboration platform that combines persistent chat, video meetings, file storage and application integration enabling efficient and effective workflow for students and teachers.
