Community Capital Campaign Launched!
Dear parents and carers, I have great pleasure in writing to you about the Community Capital Campaign. This week is
As we look toward the future, we are filled with excitement and hope for the next chapter in the story of HillSide Christian College. With God’s guidance and your partnership, we can continue to provide a Christian education that shapes the lives of our students for generations to come.
As we approach our 50th anniversary in 2027, we are embracing a bold vision for the future.
This vision includes expanding both our primary and secondary sections and acquiring additional land to support this growth.
Our goal is clear: to raise $1.5 million over the next three years. It is our commitment to continue developing quality facilities, while preserving the strong Christian culture and mission, that makes HillSide unique.
Your donation, whether through a one-time gift or a recurring pledge, will have an immediate impact. It will help reduce existing capital loans, enabling us to direct more of our resources toward purchasing new land and expanding our facilities to meet the needs of our growing community.
HillSide thrives on its sense of community and togetherness. We invite you to partner with us as we build a brighter future for HillSide, where lives are transformed in Jesus’ name.
I’m just thrilled that we may be able to buy the extra land. I’ve always felt, as I’ve been praying, that the land would become ours. I really believed that God would give us that land. It means the school will continue developing to the glory of God. Just imagine how much more we could achieve together, for His glory!
To those who are praying and considering contributing towards the cost of the campaign, I encourage you to really consider taking part and being a partner in providing Christian education; it’s well worthwhile and God will richly bless you for it.
For donations to be eligible for a tax deduction, our Building Fund cannot be used directly for the purchase of vacant land. Building Funds can only be used for investment in permanent, roofed structures.
Donations made to this campaign are fully tax deductible. This means that the donated monies may be deducted from your gross income in most circumstances, thus lowering the tax you pay. This could make your donation more financially effective.
This type of giving generates a Charitable Gift Receipt which will be provided to you upon or shortly after donation. This can then be claimed in your tax return. For more information on claiming tax deductible donations:
Making a pledge indicates your intention to donate within 30 days of submitting the form.
